Are You Done Doubting Yourself?!?!

It’s been a while since we last connected and I have truly missed you.

Can you believe we’re only 2 days away from a NEW YEAR?? This year has absolutely flown by! I remember being a kid and feeling like time moved so slowwwwwww and now, it feels like life is moving soooo fastttttt. Scripture says life is but a vapor and that is indeed true.

The new year has always been special to me. I see it as an opportunity for a fresh start, a renewed mindset, and a chance to pursue new goals with intention.

And this year, I’ve made a decision:

I am turning my dreams into reality.

Can I be honest with you for a moment?

For the past 2.5 years, I’ve been in a slump. Functional depression is probably the most accurate way to describe it 🤷🏾‍♀️

At one point, I was super passionate about my business and helping people heal, empowering them to make real change, and showing them the power of the bodies God has blessed us with. But when my personal life took an unexpected turn in 2023, that spark slowly faded.

That was also the year I decided to go all-in on my business. When things didn’t unfold the way I had envisioned, discouragement set in. I found myself overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, and questioning everything. Eventually, I made the decision to return to nursing, something I’m good at and genuinely feel called to do.

Yet even then…something was missing.

Last month, God led me to read Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer, and it COMPLETELY shifted my perspective and changed my life. I realized that while I was doing all the “right” things, going to church, praying, giving, reading my Bible, I hadn’t fully tapped into the MINDSET of Christ.

You see, while I believe nursing is part of my calling, I believe my GREATER calling is helping people understand that God has already given us everything we need to survive and thrive. You don’t have to rely on Western medicine and pharmaceuticals. God has provided us with resources here on this earth to support healing physically, mentally, and spiritually.

What Joyce helped me see is my circumstances weren’t God’s fault. They were the manifestation of MY negative thoughts and mindset.

We can’t let unexpected turns throw us off course. We can't pray for blessings and success while constantly complaining, doubting, feeling sorry for ourselves, and speaking negativity over our lives.

In her book, Joyce says that your misery is actually due to what is going on INSIDE of you. YOUR THOUGHTS. What do you think Jesus' mind was like when He lived on earth? Whoop!! Hold on now, Joyce! You said a word right there!!!!

We MUST pray without ceasing, give thanks for ALL things, and believe in God and His promises.

Mark 11:24 says:

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

The key is to BELIEVE you have received it and step into alignment.

I hear so many Christians say, “God is able,” “Nothing is impossible,” and “my God can do anything.” But our words and actions don’t match our beliefs.

We speak negativity over our lives and then wonder why we don’t see breakthrough. Somebody asks you how you are doing and you have to tell them everything that is WRONG and you say things like "it's one thing after another", "when it rains it pours", "I just can't catch a break."

You are literally speaking negativity over your life and you're wondering why things aren't improving.

James 1:6–8 tells us that when we ask God for something, we should ask with faith in Him alone and that a double-minded person should expect to receive NOTHING from God.

Maybe that’s why we haven’t received everything He has for us? We know He is able, but we don't truly believe that He will grant our request and this lack of belief creates frustration, resentment, and bitterness?

Here’s something else I realized: there is no difference between you, me, and Jeff Bezos. God doesn’t love him more than any of us. What Jeff had while he was building Amazon was belief in self, innovation, persistence, confidence, and resilience.

So let me ask you something. If someone described you, would they say those things about you? Would they say you wholeheartedly believe in your calling? That you stay the course when things get hard in life? That your faith in God is solid and doesn't waver?

That has NOT been how people would describe me in the last few years, but it will be now. Because it’s not how you start…it’s how you finish.

I’m DONE giving up on myself.

I’m DONE doubting God’s promises.

Scripture says He came so that we may have life and have it more ABUNDANTLY.

We weren't put on this earth to be sick, lonely, and broke.

I’m learning that my biggest competition isn’t anyone else, it’s ME. If I stay in the Word, encourage myself, walk in obedience, and keep my focus aligned with God’s will, there’s no room for jealousy, envy or comparison. It's literally ME vs. ME.

So here’s to you making 2026 YOUR YEAR.

Here’s to laying down excuses and stepping fully into what God has for you.

There is absolutely no reason this can’t be the best year of your life.

I cannot wait to share everything I have planned to help you take your health and your life to the next level!!

Cheers to you!!

Maggie 💕
